Getting Started

Installation

This project was generated with Django version 4.0.5.

Below is an example of how you can instruct your audience on installing and setting up the app. This template doesn't rely on any external dependencies or services.

1. Clone the repo by running

   git clone https://github.com/OneEyeX/Share-Your-Best-Pics.git
   

2. setting up and activating the Virtual Environment

Run

python -m venv venv

then

source venv/Scripts/activate

3. Installing Django

pip install django==4.0.5

4. Activating the server

cd Share-Your-Best-Pics

then

python manage.py migrate

then

python manage.py runserver

for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:8000/. The application will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
