Expense-Tracker-Nextjs-Firebase Tailwind Templates

Expense Tracker Nextjs Firebase

A Simple Expense Tracker App created with Nextjs, Tailwind CSS and Firebase.

Expense Tracker App

Implemented using :

  1. Next.js
  2. Tailwind CSS
  3. Firebase

Important : You may see the items you add vanishing on reload, although there is a firebase database connected to it at the backend but since it is a simple web application without any authentication, so making read and write public may invite unnecessary people who may write inappropriate stuff.

Therefore, it you clone the project and run it in test mode. Enter your credentials in the .env you made. Then the project will work fine with the database allowing read and write operations on it locally on your system.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
