The template includes a set of essential components to get you started. These components are ready to be customized and extended to suit your project needs.
To create a new project using this template, follow these steps:
Open your terminal.
Run the following command and follow the prompts:
npx @edward-hyde/template-next
You will be asked to enter a name for your project. Press Enter for the default name 'my-next-app'.
Once the project is generated, navigate into the newly created directory:
cd PROJECT-NAME
Start the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000
to see your new Next.js project in action.
Template-NEXT allows you to clone the template directly into your working directory, useful for adding it to existing project structures. Run:
npx @edward-hyde/template-next .
The CLI will walk you through the setup process, offering clearer instructions and tailored steps based on your choices.
