Getting Started

Running the development server for the first time

pnpm install
pnpm dev

Update the .env file with the following variables

DATABASE_URL='planetscale_db_connection_string'

NEXTAUTH_URL="http://localhost:3000"

AUTH_GITHUB_SECRET='github_auth_client_secret'
AUTH_GITHUB_ID='github_auth_client_id'
NEXTAUTH_SECRET="next_auth_secret"
#  You can generate a new secret on the command line with:
# openssl rand -base64 32
# https://next-auth.js.org/configuration/options#secret

the app will start on http://localhost:3000
