Wireview

Wireview is an ecommerce store that is helpful for stores, shops which have less online visibility. I helps them by showcasing and selling their products on the website, providing them with a valuable online presence. Currently, local businesses encounter challenges due to limited visibility on the internet for marketing their goods. Additionally, customers ordering from other websites often face significant delays in order processing which can be found in nearby stores. Wireview addresses these issues by streamlining the process, efficiently connecting customers with nearby stores, and thereby reducing the time needed to discover and successfully obtain products from the sellers.

As of now, dummy products have been added to demonstrate the functionality of the store.

I deployed this website on Vercel for the frontend and Cyclic.sh for the server.

The design is inspired by Shopify's Woodstock theme.

Installation

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following installed:

• Node.js
• npm
• MongoDB

1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/hiteshmishra2103/wireview.git

2. Navigate to the project directory

   cd wireview
   

3. Run the command

   git submodule update --init --recursive

Authentication

I have added authentication to my website, new users can signup if they are new to the platform and then login to store the items in cart, ordering the prducts and seeing their order history.Utilizing libraries such as bcryptjs for secure password hashing and jsonwebtoken for generating and validating authentication tokens, Wireview ensures that user data remains confidential and protected.

Payments with Stripe:

I have used stripe for secure payments in my website. Say goodbye to payment hassles and enjoy smooth transactions every time.

Command Center Dashboard for Admin:

Admin can see what's happening in their store at a glance. They can Add new products, update the order status,and keep track of pending order, all orders, fulfilled orders.

Orders History:

Customers can easily see past purchases, check out product details. They can track their orders in real-time, knowing exactly whether their order is fulfilled or still pending.

Search Functionality:

No more endless scrolling! Customers can easily search for the products by the powerful search to find items by category, brand, keywords.

Cart

Add items to your cart as you browse, creating your own personalized shopping list. Take your time exploring the store knowing your picks are safely waiting for you. Checkout whenever you're ready with a smooth and hassle-free process.
