This project is inspired by Code With Antonio's YouTube tutorial on building a Full Stack E-Commerce platform using Next.js 13 App Router, React, Tailwind, Prisma, and MySQL. The tutorial emphasizes the utilization of Next.js 13 App Router for creating a seamless navigation and user experience in a fully functional E-Commerce platform with an Admin Dashboard.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
Clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/your-username/project-name.git
Install NPM packages
npm install
Configure your MySQL database and update the prisma/.env file with your MySQL credentials. Go to https://mongodb.com to set up your own MongoDB.
DATABASE_URL="mysql://user:password@localhost:3306/mydb"
Apply the database schema
npx prisma migrate dev
Run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
